McConnell Planning was established in 2020 by James McConnell

 

James has almost 30 years working as a town planner with extensive experience of the house building industry.  Prior to establishing McConnell Planning, James worked at Bellway Homes for
15 years at a senior level as Regional Planning Director.

 

During his career at Bellway Homes, James secured planning permission for many challenging projects across London, South-east England and East of England.  He is particularly skilled at navigating a way through the planning system to open up land development opportunities and secure timely planning consents that meet commercial objectives.

 

James has also served on the National Planning Committee of the Home Builders Federation and has recently spoken at several major housebuilding and planning conferences.
